Curatorial note

Seen at the Garden Court corner, the red-lidded receptacle anchors the edge of a black iron fence enclosing a small park. The bright red lid and vertical bars read as a durable element within the brick-paved edge of the street, a quiet fixture of daily life. Since its acquisition in December 2025, the piece has occupied its site, inviting continued attention to municipal objects that persist in the urban rhythm.
