Curatorial note
Seen from the alley behind 1019 Cherry Street, the work centers on a dumpster marked with bright blue graffiti, anchoring a corridor crowded with pallets and scattered boxes. Since its acquisition in December 2025, the piece has occupied this back-alley condition as a durable ledger of accumulation in Chinatown. The presence of gas cylinders and a leaning metal frame among the debris foregrounds the persistence of informal storage at the urban edge.
