Curatorial note
Seen from the sidewalk, the blue tarp and timber stack anchor the curb as a quiet installation within the East Passyunk streetscape. The exposed lengths of wood and the tarp’s sheen describe a provisional boundary between residence and public space, reframing a routine maintenance moment as sculpture. Since its acquisition in December 2025, the work has stood as a durable record of temporary material practices on the block.
