Curatorial note

Seen at ground level, a weathered wooden pallet rises from a bed of dried leaves and vines, anchoring the scene in Mount Airy. A chain-link fence and surrounding vegetation define the boundary between yard and street, framing the work within a residential curbscape. Acquired in December 2025, this piece has persisted in the Mount Airy landscape as a patient record of seasonal accumulation and urban edge.
