Curatorial note
From its position at the base of the stoop along Bucknell Street, the pink hoodie within a broad pile of leaves marks a long-running curbside accumulation. Since its acquisition in January 2026, the mound has remained a quiet presence at the edge of the sidewalk, framed by weeds and a rusted post. The museum treats this work as a longitudinal record of street-level material life, anchored by a vivid color accent amid neutral urban surfaces.
