Curatorial note

Seen in the photograph, a cluster of black trash bags tied with pink cords sits at a curb beside a red vehicle, the pink accents creating a vivid diagonal across the frame. Since its acquisition in January 2026, the work has occupied this same curbside milieu, inviting reflection on the persistence of everyday refuse in Elmwood. The piece anchors the street as a site of long-form accumulation, where material detritus and parked transport share the frame and occupy urban time.
