The Long Quiet of Locust Street — Spruce Hill
Asphalt, standing water, ice, debris
Streets Department, est. 2026
120 days on view
Curatorial note
From its position at the Locust Street curb, the work presents a water-filled depression edged by ice and worn asphalt. An orange traffic cone marks its edge, a small beacon amid the street's gray surface. Since its acquisition in January 2026, the site has persisted as a legible trace of Spruce Hill's street-maintenance rhythms.
