Curatorial note
Viewed from the windshield, the trunk’s buckle and the slight misalignment of the taillight assembly anchor the work in a moment of physical stress. Acquired January 2026, this piece has occupied a Tacony curb along Frankford Avenue as part of a durable archive of street-life stasis. The arrangement of nearby vehicles and storefronts situates the piece within the arterial texture of Tacony, making it a durable register of temporary disruption in public space.
