Curatorial note

From its angle at the Ionic Street corner, the white siding bay window punctures the brick facade, creating a pale intrusion against the graffiti-scarred wall. Since acquiring January 2026, the work has anchored the Ionic Street corner as a compact register of urban surfaces—brick, siding, signage, and vehicle presence—within Spruce Hill. Its arrangement foregrounds how street-level architecture folds into daily life, preserving a record of material layering in the neighborhood.
