Curatorial note

From a high vantage, the teal tarp anchors a jumble of refuse around a dark, water-filled pit at the lower edge of the frame. The vertical trunks of trees slice the composition, shadowing the array of discarded materials and creating a sense of stalled duration. Since acquisition in January 2026, the work has persisted as a documented residue of private yard storage, preserving material history without resolution.
