Curatorial note
From the curb, the bright blue plastic crate in the foreground anchors a field of debris beneath the deck of a brick dwelling. The crate’s electric blue contrasts with the mossy, dark wall and the rusted balcony above, marking the threshold between private interior and street life. Since its acquisition in January 2026, the work has endured as a patient register of everyday accumulation at the edge of a residential block in East Oak Lane.
