From its curbside perch on Cottage Street, the wheelless SUV is stabilized by a concrete block beneath the front axle, the absence of wheels foregrounding the interstice between vehicle and street. Since its acquisition in January 2026, this work has occupied the curbside remainder of Cottage Street, inviting close inspection of its material condition and its interaction with the street. The museum notes that this wheelless condition anchors the composition within the neighborhood's everyday surface life.
