Curatorial note

Seen at 3961 Parrish Street, the rectangular patch of exposed aggregate interrupts the blacktop, its pale surface hosting a small puddle at the left edge. Since January 2026, the patch has remained in place with a faint rim of new asphalt along its border. The museum notes that this work anchors the streetscape at the edge of travel lanes, offering a durable record of material change within the North Philadelphia collection.
