Curatorial note
The pine needles gathered along the car's hood and roof anchor the piece in a moment of street weathering. Since its acquisition in January 2026, it has occupied this stretch as a long-running presence within the North Philadelphia streetscape. Placed beside a bright orange traffic barrier and a dusty SUV, the work emphasizes the entanglement of natural detritus and municipal infrastructure in a private vehicle's persistence.
