Curatorial note
Seen in the foreground, the bright yellow pedestrian pushbutton on a dark street pole anchors the curbside vignette. Since acquisition in January 2026, the work has remained at this corner, its color punctuating the grayscale architecture along Broad Street. The pairing of hardware and architecture studies how a single human-scale gesture organizes the rhythm of pedestrian movement along the storefronts.
