Curatorial note
Seen at curb level along McPherson Street, the two-panel composition fixes a quiet street tableau of immobilization and makeshift repair. The work foregrounds a patchwork of silver tape on the hood, which catches light and interrupts the vehicle’s glossy surface, creating a dialogue between permanence and improvisation. Since its acquisition in January 2026, this piece has anchored its corner of the South Philadelphia collection as a study of everyday interventions that persist in plain sight.
