Curatorial note
From its rear, the blue surface of the vehicle catches the streetlight and fixes the curb in a nocturnal corridor on Carpenter Street. The lower edge of the rear bumper displays faint wear, with a thin layer of dust and dirt accumulated along the seam. Acquired January 2026 and on view for 108 days, this piece remains a durable element of the Philadelphia streetscape, a patient fixture within the block's routine.
