Curatorial note
The work's roof rack spans the vehicle's red hull, catching the streetlight and creating a horizontal silhouette at the curb. Since its acquisition in January 2026, it has occupied the edge of 171 Grape St for 107 days, a quiet monument to stalled urban motion. This piece anchors the streetscape at the boundary between public space and private mobility, remaining a defining element of the Grape Street streetscape.
