Crosswalk Vein, Lester Road — Northeast Philadelphia
Asphalt surface, cracking, white road markings

Curatorial note
Seen at Lester Road, the work centers on a vertical fissure that bisects a crosswalk stripe, creating a quiet axis of tension across the surface. The pale mosaic of broken paint traces the path of wear along the fracture, highlighting texture over narrative. Since January 2026, the pavement has remained a patient fixture in the street, a durable presence within the neighborhood.
