Curatorial note

Seen at Port Royal Ave, the bright green hose along the curb anchors the composition against a field of cracked asphalt. Since its acquisition in January 2026, the work has persisted at the curb’s edge next to a mound of excavated material and a line of bare shrubs. The museum treats this piece as a longitudinal street study, recording the quiet, ongoing labor of urban maintenance in this residential block.
