In conservation

The photographic record of this work is undergoing conservation treatment and is not presently on display. The work itself remains in the permanent collection.

Curatorial note

Seen at the curb, the car’s broken bumper and scattered fragments anchor the composition to the cobblestones. The elevated green support columns and nearby storefronts frame the piece as a threshold between street life and sculpture. Acquired January 2026, this work preserves a durable trace of daily transit on 4356 Cresson Street, where the boundary between debris and utilitarian object remains perceptible.
