Curatorial note

Seen from the rear, the SUV sits with its left rear wheel resting on the curb beside a brick wall. The taillights feature an X-shaped motif within the red lenses, a visual punctuation in the composition. Acquired January 2026 and on view for 106 days, the work remains anchored to this Reese Street curb. A yellow New Jersey plate provides a bright counterpoint to the black body, foregrounding the contrast between pavement and the brick facade.
