Curatorial note
Seen at the intersection of wall and ceiling in an interior corner, the vent is masked by broad gray tape. The strips extend from the vent onto the surrounding wall, creating a stepped, tape-driven relief that redefines the boundary between architecture and intervention. Acquired January 2026, this work registers as a durable presence within the North Philadelphia collection and invites attention to the mundane infrastructures that shape daily life.
