Curatorial note

From its edge at the Parkway crossing, the raised median with tall grasses anchors the composition beside the continuous white stripe patterns. Since its acquisition in January 2026, the grasses have grown and the surrounding linework has endured, marking a long-duration presence in the streetscape. This piece stands as a longitudinal marker of Philadelphia's routine infrastructure within Center City's public realm.
