Curatorial note
From its position on South 20th Street, the cone in the bed frames the silhouette of a red pickup and marks a moment of stillness within the passing street. Since January 2026, this curbside form has inhabited the same edge of the sidewalk for 104 days, its material presence gathering a quiet record of duration. The spare tire and dusting of snow along the tailgate read as small, repeated interventions, inviting attention to how duration and surface accumulation shape the neighborhood's everyday material life.
