Curatorial note
Seen from the curb, the work's pale vertical smear along the trailer's left edge marks weathering on its black metal surface. Since acquisition in January 2026, the trailer has occupied the Mercer Street curb as a durable focal point within the block’s everyday rhythm. Commissioned by the Police Department, this piece remains part of a persistent field of urban objects repurposed as sculpture in South Philadelphia.
