Curatorial note
The work's car, clad in a seamless silver tarp, anchors the curb along Addison Street as a rounded, sculpture-like form. The taut surface and the visible seams carve subtle facets across the enclosure, foregrounding duration and opacity in the urban streetscape. Since acquisition in January 2026, this piece has remained a steady presence on the block, contributing to the museum's longitudinal record of street-side artifacts in South Philadelphia.
