The photographic record of this work is undergoing conservation treatment and is not presently on display. The work itself remains in the permanent collection.

Curatorial note

From its position at the intersection, the blue sedan's left-front quarter panel is visibly crumpled, with the bumper displaced and the wheel angled toward the curb. The vehicle sits at the threshold of crosswalk and curb, its presence framed by a Stop sign and brick rowhouse façades in the background. Acquired January 2026, at 2201 S 20th St, it remains a fixed feature of the South Philadelphia streetscape, inviting attention to how moments of disruption become long-term presence.
