Curatorial note
Seen at the curb along 2826 E Wishart St, the snow-coated sedan bears rear-end damage with a protruding bumper, a visual record of collision and lingering presence. Acquired January 2026 and on view for 100 days, the piece anchors the streetscape as a durational artifact within Northeast Philadelphia, inviting reflection on how idle objects accumulate in plain sight. The surrounding chain-link fence and leafless trees situate the work at the threshold between private space and public thoroughfare.
