In conservation

The photographic record of this work is undergoing conservation treatment and is not presently on display. The work itself remains in the permanent collection.

Curatorial note

From its position along Germantown Avenue, the work centers on a circular metal cover set in a pale sand-colored patch where asphalt has been resurfaced around a utility access point. The patch and the embedded rails anchor the piece in the rhythm of daily traffic, with the red and black vehicles as witnesses to its presence. Acquired January 2026, this work remains a documented element of Germantown’s curbside landscape.
