Curatorial note
The Buick emblem on the trunk is visible beneath a thick layer of snow. Three planters with dormant stems sit at the curb in front of the vehicle, their forms interrupted by winter accumulation. Since its acquisition in January 2026, the object has occupied the Kip Street curb, marking a persistently static presence in North Philadelphia. The piece registers as a long-duration intervention within the streetscape, preserving a moment of extended stillness in the neighborhood.
