Curatorial note
Seen at night, the tarp-covered rear of a white sedan anchors the curb at 743 McClellan St, its blue fabric spilling across the vehicle and secured by translucent wrap. Since its acquisition in January 2026, the work has remained on view for 96 days, presenting a restrained intervention that foregrounds the ordinary materials of the street. The piece joins a small set of urban objects that persist in the streetscape, inviting attention to the endurance and choreography of curbside presence.
