Curbside Vigil, S 11th St — Center City

Curatorial note

Seen along S 11th St in Center City, the work presents a snow-covered sidewalk with a heavily used central track of footprints carved through the slushy surface. Since acquisition in January 2026, the compacted snow and slush have remained visible, framed by a left-hand signboard and a right-hand recycling bin. The piece registers as a longitudinal fragment of daily mobility, its surface gradually altered by weather and pedestrian traffic.
