The pole bisects the frame, rendering the branding on the van only partially legible and foregrounding the street’s improvisational geometry. Since its acquisition in January 2026, the work has occupied this curb, enduring alongside snowbanks and a row of brick houses on 55th Street. The interplay of glossy black paint, the rough texture of the wooden post, and the captured urban stillness situate the object within Philadelphia’s everyday infrastructure tableau.
