Curatorial note

Seen from the corner, the white car in the foreground bears a thick layer of snow on its hood, distinguishing it within the line of vehicles. A substantial curbside snowbank frames the scene and creates a boundary between street and sidewalk. Acquired February 2026 and on view for 90 days, this work registers winter's material persistence along North Lawrence Street in North Philadelphia.
