Curatorial note

Seen at midday along Chestnut Street at 16th Street, the snow mound along the curb anchors the composition. The line of pedestrians behind it traverses the scene, while a large street lamp and a white curved foreground form guide the eye. Acquired February 2026 and on view for 89 days, the work records a winter moment of public life at Center City thresholds.
