Curatorial note
Seen at close range, the radiator asserts its presence as a durable, domestic artifact within the interior plane. Since acquisition in February 2026, the piece has occupied the lower threshold of the room, its gray enamel weathered to a muted, matte finish and a brass valve acquiring a soft patina. The brass valve and the radiator’s rounded forms anchor the corner of the space, while the pale wall and the wood paneling frame the object.
