Curbside Veil, Morris Street — South Philadelphia
Automotive, stationary, snow-covered
Police Department, est. 2026
85 days on view
Curatorial note
From its position at the Morris Street curb, the work anchors the streetscape as a compact winter object embedded in the street’s edge. A broad layer of snow covers the trunk and rear window, creating a flat whitened plane that softens the car’s taillight geometry and anchors the scene as a moment of stillness amid traffic. Since February 2026, it has occupied the Morris Street curb for 85 days, resisting resolution as a fixed feature of the streetscape.
