Signs at the Corner, Temporary Permanence — Old City

Wooden utility pole, enamel street signs, metal traffic signage

Streets Department, est. 2026

Curatorial note

From its position at the Wolf Street and S 4th Street intersection, the work foregrounds layered traffic signage and utility hardware as a compact vertical tableau. The yellow W accent on the lower green sign and the diagonal cable crossing the pole create a tension between color, geometry, and urban circulation. Acquired in February 2026 through commission by Streets Department, this piece anchors the corner as a durable urban marker within the neighborhood.
