Curatorial note
The foreground sign bears graffiti that partially abstracts its official message, anchoring the scene in a tension between municipal signage and street art. Since its acquisition in February 2026, the work has remained a fixed element of the Lindbergh Boulevard sweep, its winter light and snow clarifying its presence. The piece registers as a durable fragment of public-space maintenance, framed by a curb, a streetlight, and the surrounding edge of the parkway.
