Curatorial note
Seen at 4540 Ridge Ave, the curbside ensemble anchors the streetscape in winter light. The red tail light on the black SUV provides a bright punctuation against the snow, while a white vehicle sits beside it, both backed by bare trees. Commissioned by the Police Department and acquired in February 2026, the work remains a durable record within the Northwest Philadelphia collection of everyday infrastructure.
