Curatorial note

Seen at the corner, the yellow tactile plate anchors the pedestrian path as the surrounding asphalt bears patches and cracking. The patchwork extends toward the intersection, recording a durable maintenance history in the street. Acquired February 2026, this work sits within North Philadelphia’s streetscape as a longitudinal document of repair as urban artifact.
