Curatorial note
Seen from a passing car, the white van anchors the snowbound curb on Rubicam Street, its rear doors framed by row houses. The brown fire hydrant in the foreground and the wooden fence create a structured threshold between street and sidewalk. Acquired February 2026, the work persists as a durable record of a vehicle occupying the public edge.
