Curatorial note
From its curbside perch on Filbert Street in Haddington, the work presents a black sedan whose glossy surface mirrors the nearby brick wall and weathered storefronts. The taillight assembly and centered emblem anchor the composition, while the light-toned plate remains visible in the trunk opening. Acquired December 2025, the piece has occupied this edge of the streetscape for 123 days, registering as a durable element of the block.
