Curatorial note

Acquired January 2026, this work occupies the Mill Creek curb at the threshold of a brick-and-stone dwelling. The green canopy above the entrance and the plywood panel sealing the right-hand window define the compositional boundary. A wrought-iron railing and concrete steps anchor the piece within the street-facing architecture, while leaves and debris on the porch mark the passage of time. In the Mill Creek collection, the piece stands among works that chronicle long-duration street life without prescriptive outcomes.
