Curatorial note
Seen at midday, the blue crown-topped graffiti on the plaster column anchors the brick arch along the riverfront promenade. Since its acquisition in January 2026, the work has occupied the same riverside site, where stone, brick, and light meet the course of daily passage. Commissioned by Parks & Recreation, this piece records the enduring presence of informal markings within public infrastructure and its role in the streetscape's memory.
