Curatorial note
Seen at street level along a South Philadelphia block, the work anchors the curb with a rain-spattered rear window and a wiper resting across the lower pane. The chrome badge and vertical taillight column rise above a blue-and-white plate, while raindrops across the glass create a dotted field that fragments the view of the interior. Acquired January 2026, the piece belongs to a small set of long-term street-objects that confront viewers with the immobile persistence of ordinary vehicles in the urban fabric.
