From the curb, the maroon SUV sits at the threshold where a weathered wooden railing crosses the frame, its paint flaking in pale strips. Since January 2026, the work has occupied this North Philadelphia corner, where private debris meets public right‑of‑way. The spindly, dried stems in the foreground frame the vehicle, emphasizing duration and persistence in the streetscape.
