Curbside Patchwork, Oxford Street — West Philadelphia

Curatorial note

Seen from the curb, a dark circular patch in the pavement anchors the near foreground of the street. Since acquisition in January 2026, the patch has persisted through varying light and traffic, revealing the patient, ongoing process of street repair. The museum regards this curbside surface as part of a broader record of Oxford Street's longitudinal maintenance in West Philadelphia.
