Curatorial note

Seen at ground level, the white tile fragment on the ash-streaked pavement anchors the composition. The gate, tarp, and wooden fencing delimit a curbside edge, where weathered concrete and spill residues accumulate as a quiet record of daily use. Acquired January 2026 and on view for 106 days, the work remains part of the West Philadelphia collection.
